Terms of Use

Brunswick Local Market connects local buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions and do not inspect, own, ship, warrant, or guarantee listed items.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for account activity and for keeping your password secure.

Listings and transactions

Sellers must accurately describe items they have the right to sell. Buyers and sellers are responsible for inspecting items, agreeing on price and pickup, complying with applicable laws, and deciding whether a transaction is appropriate. Transactions occur directly between users.

Prohibited conduct

You may not post illegal, stolen, recalled, counterfeit, dangerous, deceptive, discriminatory, or infringing material; scrape the service; send spam; impersonate another person; evade moderation; or use the service for fraud.

Moderation

We may review, reject, remove, expire, or restrict listings and accounts to enforce these terms or protect the community. We are not obligated to pre-screen every listing.

Optional paid promotion

Promotion fees purchase placement for the stated period; they do not guarantee views, messages, or a sale. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law or where the service was not delivered, promotion fees are nonrefundable.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Brunswick Local Market disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for user conduct, item quality, transaction disputes, indirect damages, or losses arising from meetings or payments between users.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or discontinue features. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. You may stop using the service or request account deletion at any time.
